Order Processing Policy
What happens after you press "Place order" — every step, and what to expect from each one.
The journey of your order
1. Order placed
You receive an order confirmation by email immediately. If it hasn't arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder and then contact us — we'll confirm we have your order.
2. Preparation
Orders are prepared for dispatch within 1–3 working days. During peak periods (Black Friday, Christmas) preparation can take a little longer — if so, we'll say so on the site or by email.
3. Dispatch
You receive tracking or dispatch confirmation where available. Some carriers provide full tracking; others provide confirmation of dispatch only — the email will tell you which applies to your order.
4. Delivery
Delivery timing once dispatched depends on the service used for your order and your address — see the Shipping Policy for the full details.
Working days
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. Orders placed late on Friday or over the weekend are picked up the next working day, so a weekend order's 1–3 day preparation window starts on Monday.
Supplier-direct fulfilment
Some pieces are dispatched directly by their brand or supplier rather than by Nolima. This keeps prices keen and gets you the maker's own packaging — and it's shown on the product page before you buy. Supplier-direct orders follow the same preparation window and the same service standard; occasionally a supplier's dispatch confirmation arrives with slightly different tracking, which the dispatch email will explain.
Preorder items
Preorder pieces are charged at order and ship on the estimate shown on the product page. If a preorder piece is ordered together with in-stock pieces, the in-stock items won't be held to wait unless the product page says otherwise — if in doubt, order them separately, or ask us before ordering.
Address accuracy
Please double-check your delivery address at checkout — we can only change an address before dispatch. If you spot a mistake, contact us immediately and we'll do our best to catch the order in time. Once an order is dispatched we cannot redirect it; see the Cancellation Policy for what to do if an order is already on its way.
Stock and availability
If an item becomes unavailable after ordering — sold through in the gap between ordering and picking, or withdrawn by a supplier — we'll contact you as soon as we know and offer you the choice of a refund for that item, a substitute if one exists, or a partial shipment so the rest of your order isn't held up.
Combining or changing orders
To keep dispatch fast, orders are processed as placed and we can't normally combine separate orders or add items once an order is in. The quickest fix is always to contact us immediately — if the order hasn't been prepared yet, we may still be able to help.
