Payment Policy

How payment works at Nolima — methods, currency, timing and what happens if something declines.

Payment methods

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, including major cards and alternative payment options offered by our payment providers. The options available to you depend on your device and region — checkout always shows you exactly what's accepted before you confirm.

Security

All transactions are processed securely by our payment providers — card details are never stored on our site. Depending on your bank and card, you may be asked to confirm the payment with your bank's own security step (such as an app approval or a one-time code). This is standard UK banking protection and means only you can authorise charges on your card.

Currency

All prices are listed and charged in GBP (£). Your bank may apply its own exchange rate or fee if your card is issued outside the UK — those charges (if any) come from your bank, not Nolima. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before you pay.

When you're charged

  • In-stock items: payment is taken when your order is placed.
  • Preorder items: also charged at order, with the shipping estimate shown on the product page before you buy. Cancelling a preorder before dispatch is covered in the Cancellation Policy.
  • Order confirmation: payment and confirmation arrive by email within minutes. No confirmation email means no completed order — check spam, then contact us.

Failed or declined payments

If a payment is declined, the order isn't placed — nothing has been charged and nothing will ship. The most common fixes:

  • Check with your bank — many declines are the bank's fraud protection doing its job.
  • Try an alternative payment method at checkout.
  • Confirm your billing address matches the one your bank holds.
  • If your bank confirms the payment went through but you received no order confirmation, contact us with the payment reference and we'll investigate.

Refunds

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method. Once we've confirmed a refund, your bank or card provider takes over — most refunds appear within a few working days, though some banks take up to 10. The timing on our side and the full conditions are set out in the Returns & Refunds policy and the refund timing notes above.

Questions about a charge

Something on your statement you don't recognise, or a payment that seems to have taken twice? Contact us with the amount, the date and the last four digits of the card, and we'll trace it the same working day where we can.
